Rabbitry Closed
🐇🐾After many years of furry fun, we have decided to close our rabbitry. We thank all of the families that have adopted buns from us. Best Wishes! 🐾🐇
Looking to add a bun to your family or brood? We enjoy educating new rabbit owners on product recommendations, health and nutrition advice, enrichment, and overall expectations in rabbit ownership. This support differentiates us from other breeders and we are very proud to make this journey fun, easy, and stress free for novice and experienced bun lovers alike.
(Please note we are a rabbitry, onsite at our private home. We are NOT a petting zoo. We also do not take in rabbits. Contact your local SPCA as they have rehoming programs.)
We are a small family-owned rabbitry on a 7 acre mini-farm, located in rural Central Virginia. Our rabbits are raised indoors and are handled daily by children and adults alike. We currently focus on pure Holland Lops. Our bunnies are friendly and well adjusted to people, noise, and other animals.
As members of the ARBA (American Rabbit Breeders Association), we strive to offer healthy, happy bunnies that make excellent companions. We do not mass produce bunnies, but instead focus on quality time spent with the limited few that we make available. This is our beloved hobby and we take great pride in the hard work involved.
(Again, please note we are a rabbitry, onsite at our private home. We are NOT a petting zoo.)
Old Towne Rabbitry (Amanda) is phenomenal. Being a first-time bun family, we were nervous about the process of adding a baby bun to our family, and she took all the nerves out of the process and made it straightforward and enjoyable. She's very responsive to questions and shared in our excitement - it's clear her buns are loved and well-cared for from the moment they arrive. We love our new addition and highly recommend Old Towne Rabbitry if you're looking to add to your family.

I'm attaching some photos of Potter below :) He is the BEST boy, seriously. I got him a litter box that I put his bedding and some hay into for when I let him out, and he started using it immediately. In one of the photos, he's laying next to these stone pigs that I have by my front door - he LOVES them.
Thank you again so much for being so wonderful throughout this whole process. He is so loved❤️

Amanda and her Rabbitry could not have given us a better experience. From finding out to when a litter would be born, the photo updates, and actually picking up our bunny could not have been a smoother and more perfect. Our new bun is a picture of health, playful, sweet as could be and adjusting to his new home well. We highly recommend Amanda to anyone interested in a bunny!

We have loved our experience with Old Towne Rabbitry. As first time bunny owners I had tons of questions which they were more than happy to answer. I loved the frequent pictures and updates as we waited for our bunny and all the information provided has been invaluable. Our bunny is healthy, friendly, and had obviously been loved and cared for before coming to our home. We are beyond excited to have him as a member of our family and I couldn’t imagine getting a bunny from anywhere else.

Chestnut is such a sweet boy. No accidents outside of the litter box. He gets along great with everyone in our family, including our cat and the two new inquisitive foster kittens. He loves to play and is just a joy to have around. Amanda and family did an amazing job raising him and getting him to where he was when we acquired him. Our family is so glad to have him around and can't wait for years of fun with our boy!!!

We celebrated Honey’s one year with us. Thank you for bringing her into our lives.
Today is Silvys 1 year birthday and he is a fine young Buck and a member of the family. So glad I made the trip to get him, we love him. Had his first vet check months ago and he is very healthy and still whole for now…….we will probably leave him be unless his behavior changes. Anyway just wanted to check in and thought you’d like to hear about one of your alumni! Attached is a picture that captures his playful and inquisitive personality.
Just wanted to follow-up and let you know that Franklin is settling into his home really well! He was eating and drinking water right away, and is already using the litter box consistently.
Thank you so much for this boy. He's already bringing so much joy to our lives!
Willow is so spoiled, everyone loves him. We took him to get his nails cut and everyone in the pet shop was all over him and said they had never seen a rabbit so calm like that. He is amazing running around and playing with his big brother (our shihh poo dog) and we still are forever grateful for you.
